Idea #3. Plan an activity for just you and your mom. It can be as simple as an interview. Sit down and ask her questions about her birth, childhood and what she did for fun. Ask her how she did in school or what her favorite subjects were. Did she have a favorite job? And why?
Ask her what it was like when you were born. What were the sequence of events like and how did it change her life? End the interview by telling her how much you appreciate and love her. For more activities, visit Kaboose.
Idea #4. Give a small, yet meaningful gift. Get a photo printed of you and your mom. Or, the entire family. Have each family member write a personalized note on the back of the photo then buy an inexpensive picture frame to put it in. Put the photo in with the note facing up. Then after your mom reads it, tell her to flip the photo over so she can see the image. This is a small, inexpensive gift with a lot of meaning.
